Last week the South of Holland was once again the theater of Carnaval. We spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the local party place where we usually hang out, or should I say, seek refuge? Anyway, as usual there was more than enough beer, partying, great friends and good time. See here for all the pictures. |

The house we already bought last April is finally threatening to get built! Last week I went to see the construction company for the first time, so it's starting to get real. In order to prepare ourselves for what's coming, I spent considerable time last summer to create a 3D model of the house. These images are now uploaded, so check it out! |

Alas, summer in Holland is almost over. And so is the summer holiday. While most of the people I know have already started working again, I'm sorting out over a thousand of photos from a wonderful two weeks spent in Italy...
The first few days we spent in and around Venice, with a day trip back to Marco in Slovenia to do the canyoning thing just once more ;) After that we drove to Rome where we visited the very impressive Vatican City along with the Pantheon, Colosseum, Foro Romano, Monument of VE2, and Trevi Fountains. One day was spent in Ostia, an excavated village just below Rome. Then we headed on back home, but not without stopping for a couple of days of relaxation at the Garda lake, near Verona....

 After a long time of inactivity, it got time to update the website. A brand new look and new photos to go. Check the severely overdue albums on Egypt and London, as well as the 2007 albums such as Guy's birth, the MBA study trip and the holiday with Vlieland extension. |

On the first day of the summer holiday, Mysteryland was the place to be. Equipped with a brand new camera we were ready to go! The yearly outdoor festival was loaded once again with music, dance, friends and lots of drinks... The weather lords were merciful and provided us the only sunny day of the week. See the pictures for what may well have been the best party of the year!! |
