 The 30th of April is Queen's Day in Holland. Although I've celebrated it many times, this year was the first time I went to Amsterdam to join the festivities. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, but a couple of nice pictures were taken that I wouldn't want to hold back. See below.

After spending a few weeks in France already, I packed my suitcase and headed back. Not for work this time, but for some snow and fun. Val Thorens was the place to be and this year we were extremely lucky with the weather. Seven days over 20 degrees, and best of all, we had an apartment that was 200 meters closer to the bars than last year! View all the pictures here. |

I just got back from a three day working trip to Toulouse, South France. Unfortunately I worked quite long days, so not much touring of the city and/or area, but there are some pictures nevertheless. The city center (called "Capitol") with its beautiful city hall is especially nice. |

Well the cooperation between the Dutch and French colleagues continues and this week I had to go to Biarritz. It's located 20 km above Spain, right on the west coast of France. In the summer it's quite a popular holiday destination, but unfortunately it's rather cold at the moment. My hotel is situated 100 meters from the beach and some fool in the neighbourhood has left his wireless internet connection unprotected to allow me to type this from my hotel room! Biarritz itself is not so big, but has lots of cosy restaurants and bars and a beautiful coast line to walk along. Some pictures can be found here. The last picture is actually the view from the Capgemini office in Bayonne. It only snows once every couple of years, and I captured it on camera! |

Last week we got our first little layer of snow of the year. Not that it was that special, but it was a rather nice day, so I took the chance to make some pictures of my garden. Pictures here! Very nice to wake up like this ;) |
